APPROACHING NORTH BERWICK FROM THE SOUTH
From the A1, three miles past Dunbar, turn right
and follow signs for North Berwick. In the town itself, continue
down Dunbar Road, East Road and at the round-a-bout on Quality
Street (by the war memorial) No.5 is on the left: the 1st
house behind the tourist information centre is MG5 Kirk Ports, where
you will be welcomed by Mr Montgomery.
APPROACHING NORTH BERWICK FROM THE WEST.
Leaving Edinburgh (or its by-pass) take the A1 for
Berwick upon Tweed, after 5 miles ONTO A198 follow the signs for
North Berwick. You will enter the town area down Dirleton Avenue
where the fork ahead bears you to the left (one-way system) with
putting green and sea on your left, continue until you reach a stop
sign then turn right into Quality Street at the round-a-bout; as
above.
